Copyright Ownership

The Capital Rail Systems software platform and associated materials are protected by United States copyright law and, where applicable, international copyright and intellectual property laws.

Protected Materials

Except for customer-owned information and third-party materials, the materials owned by Capital Rail Systems include, without limitation:

Software source code and object code
Application architecture and proprietary functionality
User-interface designs and layouts
Database structures and proprietary data organization
Inspection workflows and software processes
Report layouts and report-generation functionality
Graphics, icons, logos and branding
Website content and documentation
Training and instructional materials
Original text, designs and other proprietary content

Customer Data

This copyright notice does not claim ownership of inspection records, photographs, attachments, notes, asset information or other content owned and submitted by customers through the Capital Rail Systems platform.

Permitted Use

Authorized customers and users may access and use Capital Rail Systems solely in accordance with the applicable Terms of Service, subscription agreement and other written agreements with Capital Rail Systems.

Permission to use the software does not transfer ownership of any Capital Track Assets intellectual property.

Prohibited Uses

Except where expressly authorized in writing or permitted by applicable law, no person or organization may:

Copy or reproduce the Capital Rail Systems software.
Redistribute or resell the software or its proprietary materials.
Create unauthorized derivative works from the software.
Remove or obscure copyright or proprietary notices.
Copy proprietary screens, workflows, designs or documentation for competing commercial use.
Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

Trademarks and Branding

The Capital Rail Systems name, logos, branding and related identifiers are proprietary to Capital Rail Systems LLC. Use of these materials does not grant any ownership or trademark rights.

Third-Party Materials

Third-party software, trademarks, libraries and other materials remain the property of their respective owners and may be subject to separate license terms.

Reporting Infringement

Suspected unauthorized copying or use of Capital Rail Systems intellectual property may be reported through the official Capital Rail Systems contact or support channels.
